Working for the Manchester International Festival we provided a complete audio package for this rather special show. For the first time in its 150 year history the 'original Manchester Band' - The Halle orchestra - collaborated with a local band, Elbow.

Elbow's Guy Garvey and Joe Dudell orchestrated new arrangements from Elbow's back catalogue to the delight of the audience and critical acclaim of the press.

The live show was also broadcast live to Castlefield bowl on one barmy summers night to an audience of thousands of loyal Elbow fans.

We provided Avid Profiles for both the FOH system and choir mix, plus Yamaha consoles for monitors and orchestra sub mixes, with a Cadac S-Type for the broadcast mix. The main sound system at both locations was based on Meyer Sound line arrays.

The show was held up as one of the major success stories of the the MIF.
